Goalkeeper gloves for the Korea-Japan World Cup series in 2002
A line of gloves honoring the 2002 World Cup in Korea and Japan, which left us with great moments like Ronaldo's media-fueled haircut, Oliver Khan's mistake in the final against Brazil, and the "strange" refereeing the Spanish team received in the quarterfinals against Korea, the host nation.
Technical Characteristics
Palm
GIGAGRIP
High-performance palm supplied to our sponsored goalkeepers for competition in professional leagues. Competition-grade palm with the best grip in all weather conditions. 4mm German GigaGrip latex + 4mm foam. Sponge-like grip. Anti-slip gel inside to increase ball feel and limit micro-movements of the hand inside the glove.
Cut
ERGOROLL
Large, rounded contact surface for greater ball coverage. Mesh textile layer between the fingers for improved fit and ventilation. Ergoroll-cut glove with latex thumb wrap.
Back
3D LATEX REINFORCEMENT
Latex reinforcement in impact zones. Strategically placed latex panels on the back to mitigate impact and enhance punch clearance.
Closing
OPTIONAL ELASTIC STRAP
Optional elastic strap with two anchor points. Elastic wristband that perfectly fits the contours of the wrist. Includes an optional full-wrap closure strap for goalkeepers who require a tighter fit.
